Writer Peter MacNamara wrote a short story inspired by the Dublin phrase ‘on the pop’. It’s a tale of one young man’s trials and tribulations as he comes to terms with his erection being linked to the presence a white pigeon.

Studio Yum Yum artists – Niamh Hannaford, Gavin Leane, Gearóid O’Dea and Darren O’Driscoll – created a series of vibrant visuals and transgressive art works. Mediums ranged from painting, sculpture, and photography to literary fiction and performance art in reaction to the story. An exhibition exploring confessions, vulnerability and Dublin wit.
